Arbor Day is celebrated in many nations around the world. An encouragement to plant trees, Arbor Day is generally considered to be on the last Friday of April in the United States, although some states have different dates depending on the best time to plant trees. For other countries, Arbor Day also typically occurs on a date on which the weather is conducive for planting new trees, often in spring.
